This is Raghunadh having 3 years Experience in Java currently working as a Software Engineer in NalinSoft Pvt Ltd coming to my current project ,

Integration Data Management Server

My Role is: Software Engineer

1. It is a middle ware enterprise application between an e-commerce client and data warehouse.
2. It fetches data from the data warehouse and processes the data, which will be consumed by the E-commerce client.
3. In this process for every order placed on the E-commerce application is being tracked and sent back to client, in a meanwhile Integration Data Management will get certain commission for each order.
4. Our application is used as both client and service provider application.
5. It is a client for E-commerce application and we charge from that application to sell data as a Response.
6. We use to get the data from Warehouse application and we will pay amount to it to by data from this application.

In this project my responsibilities are:

1.     Involved in team for gathering the requirements from Business Analyst.

2.     Interact with Management to understand the requirements and clarifying the doubts.

3.     Implementing the Spring Framework.

4.     Involved in developing the controllers for designing view pages using Spring MVC

5.     Involved in coding for DAOs, Services and Controllers.

6.     Involved in coding DAO classes and mapping files using Hibernate 3.0

7.     Involved in implementing persistence logic using Hibernate

8.     Involved in writing the HQL, Criteria.

9.     Experience in implementing Hibernate ORM tool

10.   Also involved in coding of all Logging Activities using Log4J Framework.

11.   We Used Commons codec using Base64 encryption from apache for security, we design one utility class for Encoding and decoding to store data in db like pwd, security tokens, end-user emails etc.

12.   For Reporting we used Apache POI for Excel and I-text for pdf.

13.   Worked for the user requirements and prepared the software functional activities.

14.   Every day when we starts coding we needs to update the code to sync with source control system branch, so that he/she will be updated with the changes that are done with the central copy to see the changes they made to others this process is called check-in and check-out.

15.   Participated daily in Scrum meets to discuss different issues in the project.

16.   Coordinated with co team members to develop high level business and technical Documents.

17.   Gather and evaluate user feedback.

18.   Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.

19.   Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary.

20.   Enhancing the product as per client requirement.

21.   Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues.

22.   Work independently when required.

23.   Supporting QA Team.

(Q)what are scrum meetings?

Ans:

1. In Scrum, on each day of a sprint, the team holds a daily scrum meeting called the "daily scrum.”  
2. Ideally, a daily scrum meeting is held in the morning, as it helps set the context for the coming day's work.
3. These scrum meetings are strictly time-boxed to 15 minutes.
4. This keeps the discussion brisk but relevant.

(Q) What is your ideal company?

our company is service based company

1.    Service based companies are the major clients of the product based companies.

2.    Product based companies like Microsoft deliver products to service based companies like Cognizant, Infosys and Wipro.

3.    Service based companies are the ones which uses the products developed by a Product based company.

(Q) Is Microsoft a service based company?

Examples of a service-based company are TCS, Infosys and Wipro.

They fulfill software requirements for a client.

The language of these companies is that the client is the King!

Product-based company examples are Microsoft, Google and Yahoo.

(Q) What is service based company and product based company?

Product based companies are those that creates some products like Oracle,Adobe are product based companies.

Service based companies are those that works on these products to provide service to the client. For Example: TCS, Wipro etc are service based companies. They are using Oracle etc for various purposes.

Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon are well known product based companies.

Product based companies work for themselves and not for any clients.

1. (A) Explain About IDMS Project?   

Ans:

1. (b) Explain About SmartBiz Project?

Ans:

1.      SmartBiz is Software for day to day market activities to make it easy to work for a common businessman.

2.      It consists of the modules of Products, Sales, Customers, Reports, Admin, Accounts, and Jurisdiction.

3.      It also related to the deals and inventory. 

4.      It Monitors Sales, Inventory and it maintains product details which are released in the market.

5.      Reports will provide all general reports daily, monthly, Periodic and any misrelated reports.
